The fee for Individual Therapy is $200 for a 50-minute session. The fee for Couples Therapy is $225 for a 50-minute session.

DO YOU ACCEPT COMMERCIAL INSURANCE?
At this time, similar to many other therapeutic private practices, The Green Garden does not accept commercial insurance. If you have an insurance plan that includes coverage for out-of-network providers, The Green Garden is happy to supply you with monthly invoices (superbills) that you can submit for reimbursement (typically this covers a good percentage of the session fee). Check with your plan directly to verify your coverage.

cherry blossoms HOW LONG DOES THERAPY LAST?

Clients typically meet with the therapist once per week. The Green Garden is a completely virtual practice and conducts therapy services using a secure, HIPAA compliant teletherapy platform (online video calls).

Each therapy session lasts approximately 50 minutes. However, in general, there is usually no set length of time for overall treatment. The length of therapy depends on your specific needs and circumstances. Therapy can last anywhere from a few sessions to several months or even years.

WHAT WILL THE THERAPY PROCESS LOOK LIKE?

The initial appointment will begin with spending some time getting to know each other. The session will include reviewing your presenting concerns, history, and background. This will also be the time where you can ask any questions you may have about therapy, the process, or myself to figure out if The Green Garden is the right fit for you.

The second session will consist of creating a treatment plan together where we will collaboratively form goals and objectives you would like to achieve while in therapy. Don’t worry if you can’t think of any goals at this time, Dr. Green is here to help. Some examples may be “I want to learn to communicate better,” “I want to create stronger boundaries with my family,” or “I need help dealing with the death of my spouse.”

From the third session on, the therapeutic process to resolve problematic behaviors, beliefs, and feelings will begin. Dr. Green will be there to actively listen, support, encourage, and empower you.
